Maxillofacial Surgery


Maxillofacial surgery is a procedure performed to correct a mismatch in the bones of the jaw or dentofacial deformity.
It indicates when a person shows a lack of harmony in the size of the jaws and teeth position and size and function is altered.

If the procedure is performed in conjunction with orthodontics, the whole process can last from 24 to 30 months. This will vary from patient's dental status and type of surgery required.
