The Pediatric Dentistry is the branch of dentistry responsible for the dental treatment of children from birth to teenage, in order to maintain the baby teeth (primary) in good condition, allowing proper formation of permanent dentition additionally to prevent the occurrence of dental cavities.
All children during the treatment are admitted to a cycle of promotion and prevention where they receive motivation and education in oral hygiene, diet control, prophylaxis, fluoride and sealants.
